As the Architect, you are expected to:

• Analyze high level requirements and apply knowledge of business needs and technical architecture to determine appropriate course of action
• Plan, design, and drive delivery for new technologies and ensure consistency of tools, standards and metrics used in maintenance and design globally
• Evaluate possible implementation of new UC Application technology, consistent with the goal of improving existing systems and technologies and in meeting the needs of the business
• Identify system and process improvements and make recommendations to IT Leadership
• Provide input to peers, management and business for recommendations and alternate solutions and/or improvements
• Provide communication and education to various stakeholders to ensure understanding of technical strategies and vision 

• Instant Messaging  platforms
• Video Conferencing (desktop, ad-hoc, mobile)
• Collaboration technologies
• Mobility (eg. Blackberry)

• Expert knowledge in Unified Communications or related fields
• Proven track record of experience with Design and/or Architecture responsibilities
