Materials Manager
 
Setting the Stage: 
 
The position is required to take over the excess inventory management from Santa Clara team. In addition, this role will also be responsible for overall material planning and control for the company.
 
Position Overview: 
 
1. Be responsible for full spectrum of inventory control and material management in the supply chain (including customer VMI, contract Manufacturers and material suppliers.
2. Define and implement inventory strategy to maintain healthy stock level and material liability.
3. Perform inventory and material planning against master production build plan and customer's forecast
4. Monitor material order status in CMs to secure sufficient materials order in CMs
5. Manage inventory level at Hub (customer VMI) and conduct cost effective stock replenishment process.
6. Provide daily and weekly inventory reports for finance and management
7. Excess/obsolete materials reporting and disposition.
8. Assist to resolve operations/logistics issues when necessary

- Report to Director of Planning
- interface internal – worldwide sales team, procurement team, NPI team 
- interface external – contract manufacturers, component suppliers, and logistics company
 
Key Performance Objectives
  
1. Ensure all inventory transactions are done in real time basis
2. Provide timely and accurate inventory reports in daily basis
3. Improve inventory turns
4. Reduce aging inventory
 
Experience Requirements: 
 
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or related discipline
- Over 8 years relevant inventory control and material management experience
- Preferably with experience in Oracle or equivalent
- Proficiency in both written/spoken English and Mandarin
- Flexible and target oriented
